A measure of how disordered information is. Practical version: the more possible messages, the harder it is to tell which one matters. Data volume now doubles on a timescale measured in minutes, and every new phrase people invent lands on top of the noise already there. That is the problem an AI engine solves for a living. Finding the one relevant source in a pool that grows faster than anyone can read it.
