Semantic drift

Language will not sit still. People invent new ways to ask the same thing, and the same question quietly changes what counts as a correct answer. Ask what the best laptop is and the words have not moved in a decade, but the answer expires every few months. A model trained once cannot keep up with either half of that, which is why live retrieval exists.
